This design is based on runes used by a general in China's Gin dynasty. Its prototype is now in a museum in China.

The tiger's body is carved with ancient Chinese characters and divided into two halves, the right half kept by the emperor and the left half by the general. When a general needs to move his troops, he must move them only when the two halves are united and there is no gap.

The work is made of polished copper, with magnets in the middle to attract the two halves to each other. Inside are traditional Chinese motifs - waves and clouds. Both of these patterns were commonly found on the uniforms of senior officials in ancient China. The waves and clouds are silver plated and very fine.

The special thing about this copper design is that it will oxidize over time, and each piece will present a completely different effect.
